I've been using Adobe Photoshop on a professional basis for the past ten years. I currently lecture in this very subject at Coventry University and a few other local venues and educational establishments.
As you can imagine, being peppered with a host of different questions about this software on a regular basis from my students, I have gathered a huge wealth of information about everything from photo-retouching to manipulation and hand colouring. The point of this article is not to sell myself for more lecturing - I have plenty of that - but to break the ice and get a good level of conversion started about Photoshop.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please sign up to this forum now and get that ball rolling!
Maybe I should break the ice by asking this question (I do know the answer to it I'll have you know!)
Question: When saving images for web use which file format is widely excepted for simple logos and plain graphics and why?
All the best, J Middleton |
